A desire to preserve family memories prompted the Rainier Family to donate this 1.67 acre parcel just north of Wadsworth Road in Beach Park as MAR Glen Oaks. The property was donated in 1996 and named in memory of M. J. and Glenn Rainier. The parcel is heavily wooded with hardwood trees (mainly oaks) with a thriving understory in a ravine type setting. A tributary of Bull Creek bisects the property flowing to the east. In 2015 LCLC acquired an additional ½ acre lot adjacent to the north property line. Surrounding land use is the old Rainier homestead and vacant lands. The North Shore Bike Path comprises the western boundary.
